Standard Arabic Language
The Standard Arabic course provides students with a working knowledge of the language used in professional and personal settings. The course is designed to be interactive and engaging, so students can learn the language easily and effectively.
Course Outline:
The course is divided into three stages, each of which teaches different aspects of the language.
The Basic Stage teaches the Arabic alphabet, phonetics, writing, and word formation. The students learn to read, write and spell words. You will also learn how to read and write in Arabic script.
The Intermediate Stage teaches sentence formation and conversational phrases. At this stage students actively participate in reading and writing the language.
This stage covers a range of topics, including how to read and understand Arabic text, how to identify keywords and phrases, and how to use context clues to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words.
In addition, it also provides students with opportunities to practice their reading skills through a variety of exercises and activities.
